Do You Feel Stuck in a Loop of Birth Trauma? You’re Not Alone—And You Can Heal

Are you constantly replaying a traumatic birth in your mind?
Do you only seem to hear stories that mirror the pain and fear you still carry?

Maybe your birth didn’t go to plan—an emergency caesarean, a complicated pregnancy, or an unexpected medical intervention that left you feeling powerless, voiceless, and overwhelmed. Perhaps you felt surrounded by faceless professionals, loud alarms, and decisions made without your consent.

You may be here because something within you is asking for change- to rewrite the story that’s been stuck on repeat.

Whether you’ve experienced:

  • A traumatic or emergency birth

  • Birth injury or harm

  • A missed miscarriage or pregnancy loss

  • An unsuccessful IVF journey

  • Or the sense that the system let you down when you needed care the most...

You deserve to be heard. You deserve to heal.

So many women and birthing people describe feeling invisible during their most vulnerable moments -neglected, dismissed, even bullied. Left wounded not only physically but emotionally. The impact can affect bonding with your baby, relationships, breastfeeding, and your overall mental health and wellbeing.

You may be struggling with symptoms of birth-related PTSD, anxiety, or postnatal depression -feeling stuck, isolated, and unsure how to move forward.

But healing is possible.

I’m a registered, practicing NHS midwife and trauma therapist. I’ve seen firsthand how deeply birth trauma can affect lives—but I also know that recovery is real. My passion is supporting women and families to break free from the emotional grip of trauma and step into a life where you feel safe, strong, and connected again.

Through Birth Trauma Therapy, we’ll work together to:

  • Process and release traumatic memories

  • Rebuild trust in your body and choices

  • Regain emotional stability and confidence

  • Move beyond survival and into thriving

You are not broken.
Your story doesn’t end with trauma.
Let’s begin your journey toward healing—together.

  • Gemma helped me resolve trauma I had suffered from my birthing experience. She was extremely approachable, sensitive to my needs and created an environment that was a safe space. I am now able to tell my story and sit with my experience without the invasive thoughts that were haunting me after my birth. Further to this, I now feel I can apply some of the techniques to other daily life issues - Thank you. X
